All papers accepted for inclusion in the technical program must be presented at the conference by one of the authors or a qualified representative. Each paper must be covered by at least one full registration before July 22, 2022. Papers which do not fulfill this requirement will be withdrawn from the program and will not be included in the workshop proceedings. One full registration can cover up to 3 papers.

Full and student registrations include a welcome package, access to all sessions, social events, coffee and lunch breaks.

* Student registration fees are applicable only to full-time students including PhD students. Students who register with a discounted rate must upload a proof of their student status (copy of student ID card or certificate) within the registration process .

** Remote participation is only offered to persons who cannot travel to Bamberg due to travel restrictions and travel warnings. This fee includes access to the broadcasted keynote and lecture presentations, and the opportunity for a remote paper presentation. Please contact the organizers via email ( if you want to register for remote participation. 

*** Accompanying person registrations include only access to the social events (welcome reception, banquet and guided city tour).

Invitation Letter

An invitation letter for visa application purposes can be requested during the registration. If the registration is already completed, an invitation letter can also be optained later on by sending a request to The request for an invitation letter needs to include the name, address, affiliation, passport number, date of birth, and registration id.


Accepted payment methods are credit card and bank transfer where payment by credit card is recommended. We accept major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. All delegates will receive a receipt from the conference organizer.

Refund Policy

A full refund, deducting a processing fee of 50 €, will be given for cancellations until July 22, 2022. No refund will be given for cancellations after this date.
