The organizing committee of IWAENC 2022 is closely monitoring the development of the corona pandemic. It is planned to conduct IWAENC 2022 as an in-person event to allow for the unique character of this workshop as a place where colleagues and friends meet to discuss new ideas, foster existing relationships and establish new ties. Opportunities to join remotely are created for those who cannot come to Bamberg due to travel restrictions or travel warnings.

In compliance with the current Covid 19 regulations for Germany, the wearing of face masks (ideally FFP2 masks) at the conference is strongly recommended, but not mandatory. Moreover, we recommend Covid 19 vaccination and to perform a (self-)test before entering the venue.
