A time slot of 20 min is allocated to each presentation with 15 min for the presentation and 5 min for questions of the audience. Presenters should not use their own laptop computer for their presentation to avoid any delay and technical problems caused by changing the presentation laptop. Instead, presenters are asked to upload and check their presentation slides, which should be in a PDF or PowerPoint format, on the computer in the presentation room at least 15 min before start of the session. A laser pointer with slide changer will be provided.
The provided boards allow for posters with A0 portrait format (84.1cm width and 118.9 cm height) only. The presenters should mount their posters during the break prior to each session and are required to attend their poster during the whole session. Failing to do so will lead to marking no-show or absence of the author. The posters need to be removed at the end of the allocated session. Posters left mounted to the boards after the end of the session will be removed and disposed.
The possibility for a remote paper presentations will be offered to authors who cannot travel to Bamberg due to travel restrictions. A the conference venue, a large screen with an audio and video communication interface will be provided for remote presentations which are conducted via the video conferencing tool zoom. Prior to the start of the session, a staff member will set up the zoom session with the remote presenter. For a poster presentation, the presenting author is expected to be online for the whole session. Further information and the login data will be provided to the remote presenters individually via email.
For the demonstrations, a poster board which allows for posters with A0 portrait format (84.1cm width and 118.9 cm height) will be provided along with a table and electric power supply.
